Mt. Zero

"We don't stop hiking because we grow old, we grow old because we stop hiking." - Finis Mitchell

img_20170629_231415_6671It was less than 10 minutes drive from Olive Grove to Mt. Zero carpark. I believe there were 3 trails you can do but we did the easiest one we woke up late and we were short on time. The estimated distance was 2.8km return with an estimated time of 1-1.5hrs but it took us about 2hrs with all the stopping to take pictures ;). It rained the night before so it was a bit slippery but we still managed to get to the top! We really did not plan on hiking until the day we got there and that is why I had converse on. But hey, I still made it to the top and that’s what matters. Although when we got to the top, I could not see a thing. Mt Zero indeed — zero visibility!

It was a good little walk to the top but it would’ve been nicer if it wasn’t that foggy. I will try the other 2 trails when I go back there again and make sure the weather will be good!

Q: Why shouldn’t you let a geologist drive your car?
A: Because they get hammered and stoned.
